The first time it happened to me
I did not know how to react
My Norwegian colleagues and boss lined up
one after the other
to tell me how good of a job I was doing.
I had never really been told that I was doing a good job in Norway
Nor had I been told that I was doing a bad job
I was actually wondering if any of my work was at all noticed
Or if anyone cared
But today it is Julebord
Julebord is the Norwegian "Feedback Day" !
You get the feedback for the whole year that passed
It is very pragmatic
Very efficient
But do not talk about it when you get back to work on the Monday morning
